Solar – Nature’s Green Power

Solar is nature’s “green” power, and in our 30 years as a home builder and general contractor, we’ve seen solar expand exponentially, with better applications, more choices, and less upfront costs.

Today’s solar options include:

•solar gates
•solar panels for hunter’s cabins, modular / manufactured homes, log cabins, or custom homes that are “off the grid”
•solar / radiant heating
•solar greenhouses

In addition to solar, we also have other green building options for our custom homes, log homes, and manufactured / modular homes, including: SIPs (Structured Insulated Panels) and ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms).

Members of our team have attended Green Built school, and we’re up-to-date on the latest energy audit requirements for the different counties (including El Paso County, Teller County, Douglas County, Park County, Fremont County, Pueblo County, Huerfano County, and Summit County).

We’ll soon be implementing blower door testing, which is a simple energy audit that evaluates a home’s air tightness.

Please note: In addition to solar panels and systems, we’re also a distributor for: kitchen and bath cabinetry, windows, gas fireplaces, wood stoves, septic systems, hot tubs, and log furniture. We manufacture log home kits.
